#030 NIDORINA DRAWING #125 ELECTABUZZ LIKE ONE OF HER FRENCH GIRLS
“MSPaint me, like one of your French girls”
I really love that this song is about a love triangle involving the singer from Sloan and Feist. Did you know Feist was Peaches’ roommate? Some days I dream about Peaches giving Feist advice, or about Feist giving Peaches advice. About Peaches and Feist going on an impulsive Florida vacation. Peaches and Feist getting groceries together. Do you think that that apartment was the basis for Two Broke Girls? I wish it was. Some days I dream about writing that treatment. Some days I dream about living that treatment.
I Have An Odd Name
Most of you know it, probably, and I think I’ve used it enough so that this blog shows up as the first Google result for it, despite myself. What shows up as the SECOND result is the Formspring account of someone who improbably has my exact name, and who is a gay black teenager in the greater Houston area. Like a lot of teenagers, he lives maybe a bit too much of his life online. Like a lot of 20somethings, I for a brief period lived too much of my life online, and thanks to the spindrift nature of Google reranking, and the unretractability of these sorts of things, the pieces that keep showing up aren’t the ones I want. I actually have a lot of feelings about this, but I want you to know that if you are Googling me because you are about to interview me for a job, there is another F—— B———— in America and he did everything bad and I did everything good.
